First Day of Advent

In celebration of the first day of Advent, Evangeline and the family prepared this reading of Jesus' birth. 

Tahoe for Turkey

We hopped on a plane to make another trip to Tahoe. We survived another flight with Juliet, and Evangeline was as content as always. I hope the single, kidless gal in front of us enjoyed her entire row to herself.

Birthday Party

In hopes of catching as many kids as possible we threw Evangeline's birthday a week early to avoid the holiday weekend! This was the first birthday that she helped plan and was old enough to be excited for!

We Go Big

Evangeline worked really hard and learned new skills for several days and filled up her star chart. 

Her reward: Courtside seats at the Blazer game. 

Dinner of choice: pizza, French fries and ranch. Lots of ranch.

Setting the Stakes

I have no doubt Evangeline will have very high expectations for her future husband. Look at the example she has to follow. 

Evangeline's first date:

He bought her flowers

He bought her a nice dinner at a nice restaurant. 

He complimented her all night. 

He took her on a beautiful walk

He even got her dessert and a surprise train ride.  

And he's the best looking guy around.

Kev's reaction- If he ever wants to throw a baseball with that hand he better go find something else to do.

Some days I'll do anything to get a shower in.
