We made it through the first night. We all took turns sleeping- sometimes Evangeline, sometimes Kev, and other times Tiff- and in the end we all woke up healthy and excited about day number 2 as a family.
Evangeline passed her first test today: the Oregon state-mandated audiology exam to determine whether or not she is hearing properly. She looks just fine.
In a few hours she'll get a few pricks on her heel for blood samples to test for Jaundice and some inherited disorders. All indications point that she'll pass those with flying colors as well.
One more night in the hospital, then we'll pack up the bags to show Evangeline her new home.
