Shower the Mama

I had a very unique and oh so fun shower for baby #3 this week. A "pamper the mama" shower. We already had everything we needed for baby #3 so the things that were bought were to help me stay sane! Things to help me relax and recoup!

I have a very special work group! I was spoiled and will have great tools to help me relax when baby #3 arrives.

Reading

Reading is a big deal around here. Can't get enough.

Kev and I are each having date days with the girls before baby #3 comes in and steals all the attention.

Earlier Raiser

No matter how early I try and get up this little lady joins me for my quite time. At least a cup of raisins and cuddles gives me a few minutes of silence in the wee hours. 

Mother's Day

As always, Kev taught the girls what it looks like to be thoughtful. 

Evangeline crawled in bed with me this morning and said, "we bought you chips, a hair tie and flowers, it's a secret."

I then came down to find these:

I've had a beautiful bow that my papa gave me that I haven't had a chance to shoot. So today we and the girls were headed to a archery range to picnic and shoot. 

The weather was perfect for a picnic. We swung by my favorite sandwich shop and headed to the range. 

The girls sat contently eating their picnic while Kev and I took turns shooting. Naturally, we were awesome at it (standing at 20 yards). 

After our bellies were full and our hands were sore I was treated to kid free shopping at Nordstrom. 

The girls kept themselves busy by running in the water fountain close by and chasing pigeons. 

I felt very celebrated!

She still really likes swim class. 

Hard Workin' Man

Tiff and I love our jobs. Tons of perquisites, flexibility, etc. But it's also a family gig. Not only do we work together, but sometimes the girls come to work with us too. 

Last week we had to get one of our retirement home busses from A to B, and Evangeline and Juliet were happy to help. 

As you can imagine, we sang "The wheels on the bus" the whole time.
