Christmas

I'd like to say our Christmas was the best one ever. But at one point Kev and I looked at each other and said "this is horrible!" We had two little girls blessed beyond belief that didn't know how to handle all the goodness. And, on top

of it all, they were getting sick, which we didn't know until that night. When we were up all. Night. Looooong. For our "first" kiddo Christmas (at least the first they could enjoy) it wasn't what we expected but we're learning. 

Happy Birthday, Jesus!

We ended the night at Grammy's with the gang. This really saved the day because it was nothing but a blast for everyone! Good food, little

Cousin giggles, games and enjoying our wonderful family.

Grown Ups

From believing in Santa to being Santa. Being grown ups really changes Christmas but we're having so much fun figuring it out! 

"Fancy" dinner at Cheesecake Factory after a GREAT Christmas service! 

While I'm elbow deep in dishes and food prep Kev is elbow deep in tools and doll clothes!

Potty Training

Juliet has shown a slight interest in going on the potty and has successfully gone a few times (including poops). So we thought we would nurture it a little. Evangeline has been a big help! 

Cousin Lovin'

See this progression of excitement. Christian ran ahead on the trail and suddenly remembered cousin Evangeline was behind. Like the valiant knight he is, he turned around and they both started running towards each other for a big hug.

Fun night walking down peacock lane, looking at the lights, listening to carolers and getting in the Christmas spirit. 

The rain came just as we were leaving. It was a perfect night!

Juliet has a ton of words and at the young age of 15 months makes it very clear what she wants and doesn't want. 

She wanted to wear this to the library. 

Christmas Tea

Friday was the second annual Erickson ladies' Christmas tea. Ju-who is still a little young to attend so only Evangeline and I enjoyed our annual event this year! 

Best seats in the house! Right next to the Christmas tree! 

We woke her up from her nap so I got lots of cuddles while we waited for our tea.

I let her eat it all. I didn't hide the sweets from her like I did last year. Her favorite on the plate was the snicker doodle cookie. 

I don't think she can get any cuter! 

We can't wait for next year and for Juliet to join the fun! 

Brunch

We had brunch yesterday with one of our favorite women. 

Waffles and great grandmas. Doesn't get much better than this type of brunch.

Another Victory

Evangeline worked hard for an entire month and earned herself another reward! 

To be able to watch the ENTIRE Frozen movie. Up until this point she has only been allowed to watch the music video. 

Ju got a little bored into the movie. 

With several screened fast forwards and requests to see the songs we were done in about 30 minutes! But, everyone seemed to enjoy this reward!

Dress Up

This is one of the many reasons I love having girls. 

I still fit in my prom dress! That's a plus!
