Something Right

This isn't a picture of the girls but it's a story I want to share. So often as a mom I feel like I'm not doing a good job raising these little humans that have been entrusted to me. I worry I'm not doing enough, not disciplining right, not saying it the right way, not being consistent, being too relaxed, being too tough. Worried I'm going to raise a bad human. 

Today when I picked up Evangeline at school her teacher told me Evangeline spent most of her recess gathering a gift for me. Then she was careful to hold it in her hands not to lose it until she saw me. Evangeline opened up her little hand and inside I found a handful of wilty, mooshed, sweaty dandelions. 

"Mama, I got you a present". 

I must be doing some things right. May the Lord fill in my gaps.
