Day at The Fort

Pippa and I took advantage of a sunny day and took the girls to enjoy Fort Vancouver.

Our first visit to the Children's Museum kept us very busy. 

Dueling Piano concert. 

Shopping for groceries. 

Fixing our make up. 

Transportation by metro.

We will for sure go again. 

Tough Cookie

First bloody nose. She took it like a champ and mostly wiped the blood on her pants. She comes from sturdy stock. 

(She even makes a bloody nose look cute. )

Be Prepared

I was never a boy scout, but I'm familiar with the motto, "Be Prepared." In that spirit I pre- made a crock pot beef stew for dinner and soak-all-night oatmeal for breakfast. 

All Work No Play

While Kev is home with the girls I'm just horsing around. 

(He's actually a mule)

Day 1 - Mid day

Tiff is gone from Sunday - Tuesday of this week so I'm all alone. 

It's the middle of the day and so far everything is going smoothly. 

So far we've been alone a little under 12 hours, sent 11 texts to Tiff, eaten 10 strawberries, fed 9 ounces of milk, changed a doll's diaper 8 times, prayed 7 times at lunch, rocked kids during nap time 6 times, put shoes on 5 different times, made 4 meals, changed 3 diapers, attempted 2 pig tails, and made 1 trip to church. 

All in all we're having a great time.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day celebrating with many mothers who inspire, encourage and teach me. I know my mom is such an incredible woman because her mom is an incredible woman. Thank you, Grammy for being an example to me of a selfless and giving mother. 

We are lucky to have a grandma and great grandma as amazing as you!

Kev had a desire to go to a botanical garden. And to our surprise Vancouver has a great one!

Evangeline is becoming quite the photographer! Maybe there will be more pictures of Kev and I again!
