Happy Birthday, Bean

Two years ago little Evangeline turned Kev and I into a family. Though Kev is the Birthday scroug he let me play a party for Evangeline this year. He even got into the birthday spirit himself.

She asked for a cheese party! This being s very interesting theme, I did my best!

I wish I would have taken more pictures of the party! But I'm thankful for the few we have!

"Happy Birthday to you!" We lite the candles three times because she cried every time they were blown out. 

I think it was a fine party if I do say so myself and I think everyone had a good time. Even her dolls.

Both Evangeline and Juliet have a cold. We took them on a walk this afternoon to give them some fresh air. Neither of them felt like playing but instead enjoyed watching the healthy kids run and play.

Evangeline started gymnastics a few weeks ago. Maybe the most fun thing she's ever done.

All The Way

Evangeline is taking potty training very seriously. She doesn't want her record to show any accidents in her pants. This can be avoided by never wearing pants.

Evangeline is a go-getter. Sometimes she's not content just to be carried. 

Sometimes she wants to do it on her own. 

She showed some really strong heel to toe transition.

With a little help from cousin Christian, Evangeline successfully took her first pee in the potty today!

Sometimes when Juliet takes really long naps Evangeline and I get desperate for things to do. Today we pretended to be models on the runway.

And there they are. Two teeth before 4 months old. I was hoping I would be getting gummy grins and easy nursing for a little while longer!

1st Outing

Kev did his first outing today with both girls. He nailed it, of course. Here are the items that made him so successful.

1 Moby wrap (Moby should hire him for a male model he makes it look so good)

2 Adorable girls in matching outfits (Kev dressed them)

3 items to pick up at Safeway (flour, grapes, eggs)

4 second drive to the store a half a mile away.
