Ate It

Ju has been begging us for weeks to begin solids. We finally gave in with a little sweet potato and break milk tonight. 

She may have changed her mind on this whole eating thing. 

Christmas

Christmas has come and gone and we barely posted on our blog. This is for two reasons:

1. We were in Tahoe having a blast with Kev's folks and his sister's family (visiting from France!). 

2. Evangeline had a bad bug and Juliet decided this was a good time to never sleep (we are all exhausted!). 

We are home now, packing up Christmas and praying (pleading) for a good night's rest for all.

The other day I joking swaddled Evangeline with a fleece blanket and showed her how I rocked her as a baby. If any of you remember I had a very special rock hop I did to soothe her to sleep. Well apparently it still works. 

She fell right to sleep and I cuddled her in my arms before we laid her down in her crib. Swaddled....

As an early Christmas gift Kev reserved Evangeline and I a table at The Heathman's Christmas tea. 

We got all dressed up.

And enjoyed the beautiful hotel and all its festivities.

Happy Birthday, Bean

Two years ago little Evangeline turned Kev and I into a family. Though Kev is the Birthday scroug he let me play a party for Evangeline this year. He even got into the birthday spirit himself.

Sickies Walking

Both Evangeline and Juliet have a cold. We took them on a walk this afternoon to give them some fresh air. Neither of them felt like playing but instead enjoyed watching the healthy kids run and play.
