People Food

We haven't started Evangeline on solids yet. But, on occasion, we let Evangeline "gum" some fruit and produce. 

So far she doesn't seem too picky. Apricots, apples, cantaloupe, radishes and greens beens. Looks like we may have a good eater on our hands. 

Assistant

Evangeline decided to stay up late the other night to help me complete all the work I couldn't get done during the day. 

Cousins

Kev and I got a dose of what it would be like to have two kids as we watched Christian the other night. Christian is one busy boys. But, he loves his cousin Evangeline. And Evangeline finds Christian very funny. Can you see her face in the mirror? 

Sleep In

Tiff and Evangeline got to sleep in on Monday.

Getting So Big

Evangeline and birth buddy, Lincoln, are almost 6 months old and can almost play together. This was their play attempt today. 

New Milestone

Look whose sitting up! And look at that belly roll! 

Name Change

She will now be called Happy. 

Evangeline in the Pool!

Evangeline got to go swimming for the first time in her life! We'll have some actual pool shots later, but for now here's her cute little swim outfit.

Flight Home

Evangeline chose option 1 for our flight home. (See previous post for flight activity options)

Commercial Flight

We gave Evangeline two options when we boarded the plane to Arizona yesterday:
1. Sleep for 2.5 hours
2. Play Quietly for 2.5 hours

She chose 3: Hang upside down and try to talk loud enough for the whole plane to hear.

Needless to say, a talking baby is pretty funny and much preferred over a crying baby, so everyone on the plane loved her.

Best Training Partner

Evangeline will sit and listen for hours to Kevin playing the guitar or cajón drum. She's is his biggest fan and best audience.

The Jones Giggles

If you keep Tiff up too late at night she gets what we call the "Jones Giggles." Essentially she laughs at everything the later at night it gets.

Tonight Evangeline kept herself up a bit too late, and it appears she caught a good case of the giggles.

Short but sweet.

Easy Going.

Evangeline has a very easy going temperament. We often look back to find her sporting her headbands as seen in the picture below. She usually never makes a peep about it.
