Take it Easy

Evangeline Grace doesn't sweat the small stuff. Today at her 9-month checkup, she wasn't bothered to be stripped down to her diaper or even given a flu shot. Put her on the scale to weigh all 17 pounds of her? No problem. Measure her 28 scrumptious inches? Cake. 

For Evangeline, if she's got mom and some squash, she's one happy girl. 

I,2,3 and Go

This happened a few weeks ago, but it isn't until recently that IT is actually happening.  Evangeline is crawling.  But, she really just prefers to be carried.  It takes lots of coaxing, bribing and cheering to get this little one to move herself across the floor.  The hardwood was hard, the carpet slowed her down, she kept waiting for "just the right" surface.  But recently shes decided to brave it all.  The bonked noggin, carpet rubbed knees and go after EVERYTHING she sees on the floor.

Pre baby I was all like, "Ew gross.  Why do parents take pictures of their babies with a messy face and all covered in food?"

Post baby I am all like, "check out how advanced my kid is;  9 months and eating with a spoon like a pro!"

We are Sleep Training!

We apologize for the lack of posts. I'm in the middle of planning a conference, Kev is in his second week of jury duty, we are in the middle of building our house and we started sleep training! Evangeline has been an incredible trainee. We've made huge progress and there haven't been any tears! Part of the training is Evangeline learning to "wind down" and put her self to sleep. For her winding down process for today's nap she decide to work in her Halloween costume.
