Feedings

We have learned a couple things about Evangeline and her eating preferences over the last few months. 

1. She loves all fruit. 

2. She will eat vegetables if mixed with fruit. 

3.  She prefers to feed herself.

4. She doesn't like to use baby spoons. Only adult metal spoons, please. 

5. She enjoys eating the food she dropped into her bib pocket. Saves her favorites for later. 

6.  When done with her food she throws it to the side. Normal, I've been told but still annoying none the less. 

7. She goes crazy for cheese!

8. She may be a lefty. 

9. She's a good eater. 

Camping

The Ericksons went camping this weekend with some friends up at East Lake. We all had a great time, but Evangeline especially since she got to try a lot of new things on her first-ever camping trip.

Tiff left me (Kevin) this treat on the doorstep for my return from work.

Peeping Tom

I have a confession to make,  I am a Peeping Tom. I LOVE to peek in the windows of my house to see what people are doing before I enter.  

I've caught both Kev and my mom reading the Word of the Lord to Evangeline. Delights my Heart.

Nothing is Safe

When Evangeline is quite after I lay her down for a nap, it doesn't mean she's sleeping anymore...

Neighbors

This evening while Kev and I were checking out the progress of our new home we met some new neighbors. They have a little dog, Smitty. 

Evangeline and Smitty immediately fell in love. Evangeline squealed with delight at Smitty's ever move and Smitty licked lovingly over Evangeline snot caked face and food caked fingers. 

I think this is the beginning of something great.
